School of Road Safety Education & Media Development: Development of Tools and systems of imparting road safety education in schools, colleges, villages and other stake holders will be researched in this School. Training for school Teachers, Village heads, and Non Government organisations will be carried out for imparting road safety education. The section of media development will create interactive audio video tools for training for all above schools, and in addition make education films for broadcast, develop animation programmes, puppetry, street plays, debates etc. ).. |

School of Public Health (for Road Safety): This School will have two main areas of research: firstly the causative factors such as drunken driving, fatigues and stress etc which catalyze the occurrence of accidents, and secondly post accident management such as trauma and first aid, This research in the area of road safety is new to India, and has the entire scope in supporting concerned agencies and organising training courses ).. |
